High flow filter systems are used in diverse applications where high flow rates and prolong service life are main parameters. These filter systems are widely used in configurations up to 4000 gpm.

Long service life and low service costs offer you not to compromise with the smaller filter systems due to advanced product features. Many of the available filter screens have a pore structure made from woven wire. This offers a filter media with outstanding dirt holding potential and nominal resistance to flow. Additionally, the fixed pore media offers precise and reliable fluid quality.

The ultimate high speed flow filter screens are an extension to screening technology. They offer large amount of screen area to be used into a cartridge capable of handling up to 500 gpm. This high flow rate paired with long service life in a small system, results in the controlled cost of ownership. No other filter can offer such performance. Although large filter area is only single aspect behind the excellent performance of the high flow filter.

The fluid flow is uniform across the entire surface of the filter medium. The uniformly distributed flow is maintained as the flow channel is the same width and length on both sides of the filter medium. This uniform flow is maintained, although with high differential pressures across the element, due to the uniquely designed upstream support and downstream drainage layers. These layers sandwich the filter medium, keep the flow channels open. The pleats are usually held in place and retained by the proprietary external helical wrap that is connected to each pleat tip along the external diameter of the cartridge. The upstream flow channel of the medium in a traditional triangular shaped pleat structure has larger opening than the downstream side. As a result the flow is maximum at the bottom of the pleat. This non-uniform flow distribution may result in areas of quick plugging where the flow is the maximum. Additionally, this flow pattern through a traditional triangular shaped pleat structure may cause non-uniform particle removal.

The drain and support materials used in conventional pleated filters are usually thin and lack stability.  Due to this, pleats become compact thereby resulting in lower flow rates and hence limited on the stream filter service life.

The micron size flow filter with our Inconel wire mesh screens provide unsurpassed removal of contaminants from process water. Thus they provide safe performance to customers.  A series of screens are produced for use in horizontal and vertical filter systems. The inline horizontal configuration reduces pressure drop and is more easily accessible for filter replacement. Use of vertical  filter configurations is based on end user’s application and space factors.

In multi-cartridge housings, the elements are sealed in the tubesheet, independent of the housing closure, using a unique component arrangement.

These advancements make the high flow filter system a compact, economical and environment friendly options for providing excellent performance and best value.  There are large to small diameter mesh cartridge for inside and outside flow pattern. The filter screen is unique to allow users to remove fine particles in high flow applications.
